Do tuners work? Are tuners "Vudoo" (pun intended)? We get asked that question a lot and we’ve put it to the test. We put an EC tuner on a built rifle (with a Vudoo Gun Works action) and started the tuning process. After tuning, we had excellent results. Keep in mind we are not claiming anything special, but this is by far the best group to date at 203 yds for a 10-shot string. The targets are 12" X 12" so any slight pull or outside variable/factor could change the impact point drastically. But with the right fundamentals (which we do teach, find out more about training here), the tuner can possibly make a difference. In the image below, the caliper reading is just for reference. Again, we are not claiming anything but just showing what off the shelf Center X in a well-built rifle can do. Below is a video of one of our load developers testing it out as well.
