Precision Rifle Shooting 2 (PR 2)

Description

In Precision Rifle Shooting 2, the shooter will use the knowledge he/she learned from Precision Rifle Shooting 1 to go into more intricate shooting positions and longer distances. There will be more emphasis on communication holds between the spotter and shooter to reaffirm the shooter understands what goes into precision long range shooting. The shooter will engage moving targets at longer distances where holds and bullet trajectory will come into play as well as test their overall knowledge and skill set with a more advance skills test.

-Reaffirm basics (everything from Precision Rifle 1)

-Advanced shooting positions (tripod use)

-Shooter/spotter communication holds (making corrections)

-Understanding and engaging moving targets

-Skills test (advanced timed precision rifle competition stage shooting)

Equipment List

Must:

-308, 6.5mm or similar caliber precision rifle capable of one minute of angle accuracy (200 rds)

-2 magazines (more than welcome to bring more)

-Quality Scope with adjustable turrets and MIL/MOA reticle

-Calculator/phone

-Ballistic solver (Kestral/Garmin watch orphone app- BallisticARC or Applied Ballistics)
