The EC Tuner Brake incorporates three elements that provide shooters easy installation, strong recoil reduction and optimal tuning.
The rear self-timing nut provides correct timing on any barrel. Midway, Cortina Precisions four port muzzle brake incorporates an expansion chamber for maximum recoil reduction. The front end is a tool-less barrel tuner. Cortinas easily adjusted tuner allows barrel harmonics manipulation, matching your load and ensuring best accuracy.
This easily installed system will transform your rifle, achieving new handling and accuracy levels.
Available in 6.5mm, caliber .30, and caliber .338 — 5/8-24 threads — Precision machined, highly corrosion resistant 303 stainless steel

3/4-24 brakes all come with straight nut, no taper.
M18x1 brakes all come with tapered nut.

EC Tuner Brake
I recently installed the EC Tuner brake on a Remington 700 PSS ,308. I've owned this rifle for 30 years now. I had put it away many years ago. I just had no place to stretch it out past 110 yards. Well long story short I recently dusted it off. I was able to get just under 1" 5 shot groups with federal 168 match ammo. Swapped out the trigger and tightened those groups to just under 1/2". One problem I was having was the inability to see my impacts. While searching for a brake, I found the EC Tuner Brake. I had the barrel threaded and installed the tuner brake. I took it to the range. The recoil was cut dramatically, and my shot groups are now in the 1/4" range. Yes, I have a Factory barreled Remington 700 shooting .250-inch groups at 100 yards with factory ammo. Yeah it's from back when they still made decent rifles. But still!! Bottom line the tuner does exactly Eric says it does. Cuts recoil and shot group size. SO if you've managed to read this long-winded review. Do not hesitate any longer this is the tuner brake you need.
